- 3.5 years of relevant experience in AS400 Development
Location: Bangalore
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced AS400 Infrastructure Operations Support Engineer to manage and support our AS400 systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in AS400 infrastructure management performance optimization backup and recovery security and troubleshooting using specific tools and technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure Management: Installation Configuration and Upgrades
- Storage Management: Allocate storage space manage libraries and objects and plan for future storage needs
- User Management: Create and manage user accounts assign permissions and control access to the system
- Security: Implement and maintain security measures to protect AS400 systems from unauthorized access and breaches
- Performance Optimization: Proactively monitor system performance identify bottlenecks and take corrective actions
- Backup and Recovery: Regularly back up systems to ensure data protection and disaster recovery
- Data Integrity: Data Modeling Data Validation
- Collaboration: Developer Support User Support
- Troubleshooting: Problem Solving Documentation
- Daily Tasks: Monitor and manage the health and performance of AS400 systems perform routine maintenance tasks troubleshoot and resolve technical issues collaborate with other IT teams and stakeholders provide support and training to endusers and IT staff maintain and update system documentation and procedures stay uptodate with the latest AS400 technologies and best practices
