CLINICAL MEDICAL ASSISTANT
Position Description:
The Clinical Medical Assistant provides support to all licensed Medical Providers including physicians physician assistants and nurse practitioners. The Clinical Medical Assistant triages patients verifies patient information and records patient data in the EMR. Additional duties may include taking of XRays patient history intake chart/file preparation and other clinical support activities that assist the Medical Providers to be efficient and effective in clinic each day.
Currently we are trying to fill several positions throughout the greater Atlanta Metro area. This candidate will be working at our Northern locations including Duluth Lawrenceville and Tucker.This is what we consider a FLOAT position.
The Float position candidate will need to be able to travel in their own vehicle to either one of the afore mentioned locations throughout the week on an as needed basis based on patient volume. Please note there are additional Medical Assistant positions available covering Snellville Lawrenceville and Stone Mountain as well as a South Region Float position covering Stockbridge McDonough Jonesboro College Park and Macon.
Pay Rate starts at $22/hr for the FLOAT positions.
Position Duties:
Room patients and prepare them to be seen by a licensed Medical Provider
Prepare patients for exams and/or treatment.
Review and record medical history
Take and records Vital Signs
Administer IM injections as prescribed by the provider.
Fit and instruct patients on the proper use of DME.
Take Xrays
Assist with minor procedures.
Assist in gathering Net Promoter Score participation from the patients.

Position Requirements:
High school graduate or equivalent
Required: Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or Military Medical Specialist with current credentials
Preferred: 12 years of experience as a Medical Assistant
Advanced Computer Skills
XRay Radiation Safety Training (Company will provide training)
Position Miscellaneous:
Hourly (NonExempt)
Shift differential based on the millage from your main clinic location.
Must be able to travel to other AICA clinics as needed within a specific zone.
Must be able to work flexible hours as needed.
Must have reliable transportation.
Physical Demands: Frequent sitting standing and walking; manipulation of documents; typing on the keyboard; limited lifting from floor to overhead of less than 1O pounds; some stooping and bending.
