Job Description

  • Define our Qantas lounge investment strategy and proposition across our network
  • Together well deliver a consistent and market leading lounge experience
  • 18 month contract role based at our Head Office in Mascot

The Manager Lounge Planning is responsible for defining the short medium and longterm Qantas lounge investment strategy ensuring the delivery of a consistent and market leading lounge proposition across Qantas network of Regional Domestic and International lounges.  

The role will manage the overarching lounge capital investment pipeline collaborating with diverse stakeholders to formulate the case for investment to progress each program to construction. This is an 18month fixed term role. 

Youll have: 

  • 8 years experience in strategy planning or investment management within hospitality retail or aviation sectors. 
  • Tertiary qualifications in business finance strategy or equivalent. 
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing strategic investment plans in complex environments. 
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret customer insights and translate them into commercial strategies. 
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence crossfunctional teams. 
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance customer experience enhancements with operational efficiency. 
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex plans to executive audiences. 
  • Knowledge of airport operations and regulatory considerations preferred. 
  • Demonstrated ability to develop longterm strategic visions while managing immediate business needs.
