QUEL EST LE TRAVAIL

Relevant directement de la direction du camp la personne occupant le poste de Spcialiste en loisirs est charge dassurer la gestion des vnements des camps le suivi administratif les commandes etc.  

Les tches et responsabilits du poste de Spcialiste en loisirs incluent mais ne se limitent pas ncessairement aux tches suivantes:    

  • Organisation dvnements sur les deux camps
  • Organisation dactivits Baker Lake (communaut Inuit)
  • Planification des vnements (quipement horaires bnvoles)
  • Supervision des bnvoles travaillant au bazar
  • Cration des horaires pour les bnvoles du bazar
  • Gestion des bnvoles pendant les vnements et au magasin bazar
  • Gestion des inventaires des barges et commandes lies

 

WHATS THE JOB

Reporting directly to the camp management team the Recreation Specialist is responsible to managing camp events administrative followup ordering and more.

The Recreation Specialists duties and responsibilities include but are not necessarily limited to the following:

  • Organizing events at both camps
  • Organizing activities at Baker Lake
  • Planning events (equipment schedules volunteers)
  • Supervising volunteers working at the bazaar
  • Creating schedules for bazaar volunteers
  • Managing volunteers during events and at the bazaar store
  • Managing inventory of barges and related orders

Qualifications :

QUI RECHERCHONSNOUS

Exigences essentielles applicables au poste: 

  • Minimum de 2 annes dexprience en gestion dvnement requis. 
  • Exprience en milieu de travail isol (considr comme un atout). 

COMPTENCES

  • tre laise avec les systmes informatiques : Outlook Excel Teams. 
  • Exprience en administration. 
  • Parler anglais (niveau B2 minumum) la langue dusage au travail est langlais. 

 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR

Essential requirements for the position: 

  • Minimum of 2 years of event management experience required.
  • Experience in a remote work environment (considered an asset).

SKILLS

  • Comfortable with computer systems: Outlook Excel Teams. 
  • Experience in administration. 
  • Fluent in English (minimum level B2 the language used at work is English.
