Job Description

Due to the continued growth we are now looking for an experienced Mechanical Site Manager in Chichester.

This role reports to the Project/Contracts Manager and will involve liaising daily with suppliers Site Supervisors Project Managers EHSQ Advisors and Subcontractors.

Main duties:

  • Oversee the installation commissioning and maintenance of mechanical building services.
  • Ensure all relevant permits are in place.
  • Conduct inspections and tests to identify and resolve mechanical issues.
  • Liaise with main contractors and the clientbased site team.
  • Ensure onsite delivery and compliance of EHSQ RAMS PPE etc.
  • Onsite coordination of plant hire tools and labour.
  • Oversee and manage labour and subcontractors.
  • Manage relevant external correspondence.
  • Order all daytoday site materials.
  • Update appropriate information to progress report.
  • Maintaining K&M Document Management System.
  • Manage projectspecific scheduling.
  • Communicate changes to the Project team.
  • Maintain project quality reporting and monitoring.

Qualifications :

  • Relevant trade qualifications in or further education qualification mechanical building services
  • Minimum of 5 years experience
  • Previous experience in a Mechanical Supervisor/Manager or similar role
  • People management experience
  • Project Management experience beneficial
  • Computer literate with exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to do some travel if/when required
