Job Overview:
As an Automotive Lot Attendant with Christian Brothers Automotive you will be managing and maintaining the organization and cleanliness of a vehicle lot. This includes tasks like parking and organizing vehicles ensuring vehicles are accounted for and supporting sales and service departments.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Greet every guest that enters our facility with hospitality and respect
- Moving newly arrived vehicles in progress as well as finished vehicles around our parking lot in an organized manner
- Driving vehicles to the front after the transaction is complete. Stay tuned in when a customer is checking out and assist the front desk staff with having the guest car delivered to the front of the shop
- Accounting for and keeping inventory of all cars on the lot
- Ensuring the cleanliness of the parking lot including picking up debris and trash
- Responsible for all facilities housekeeping duties for the lobby bathrooms and shop. Including but not limited to; cleaning straightening sweeping mopping dusting emptying wastebaskets and organizing
- Responsible for occasionally testdriving vehicles
- Desire to learn automotive repair service terminology and processes
- Occasionally providing safe shuttle service for our valued guests in our branded vehicle
- Driving offsite to run errands. Including picking up / returning parts and cores and other miscellaneous errands as needed
- Assist other team members as needed with clerical tasks such as accounts receivable and filing paperwork
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
Qualifications:
- Ability to work outdoors and stand on your feet for extended periods of time
- Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles
- Must be a minimum of eighteen years of age
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Professional attitude and the ability to deliver bestinclass customer service
Physical Requirements:
- While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to sit stand walk talk and hear
- The employee is occasionally required to balance stoop kneel and/or crouch
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision peripheral vision color vision and the ability to adjust focus
- Being dependable for a position that is Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. 6:00 p.m.
- Keeping a brisk work pace in a highvolume environment
