Medical Evidence Practice team (MEP)

The Role
As an (Associate) Principal within the MEP team you will take on a variety of roles within the following core areas: business development client relationship building project leadership team development.
The role requires an inquisitive consulting mindset to develop new opportunities alongside a customerfirst mentality to grow longterm partnerships with headquarters clients. Working closely with account sales and other gotomarket teams you will engage with senior client stakeholders to identify their needs and develop custom solutions across the realworld evidence and medical affairs space. The role has responsibility for ensuring oversight and delivery of high levels of client satisfaction for continued opportunity exploration and account revenue growth.
Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management and Business Development
Meet or exceed assigned sales targets by consulting with clients to fully understand their needs and taking the lead role in proposal development
Build client intimacy with senior leaders at key accounts to drive realworld evidence opportunities as well as identify opportunities for the broader IQVIA business
Serve as the MEP expert for key accounts; collaborate closely across realworld and commercial teams to ensure a coordinated proactive gotomarket approach
Project Leadership
Act as principalincharge on client engagements leading teams of RWS professionals in the design development and delivery of complex realworld products
Take ultimate responsibility for client satisfaction and ensuring high quality delivery / added value that meets or exceeds client expectations
People Leadership
Mentor and coach junior employees to support continuous professional development both onprojects and as part of formal coaching program
Take a leadership role on internal initiatives in Switzerland or at Global level e.g. recruitment wellbeing employee resource groups
Expertise and Thought Leadership
Contribute to the enhanced awareness of IQVIA realworld and medical affairs activities in the marketplace (e.g. through meetings speaking engagements publications etc)
Build and maintain external stakeholder relationships to promote IQVIA market positioning access to data and relationships with key influencing groups
Expand capabilities and capacity in patient data assets and networks healthcare intelligence tools and commercial and scientific services
Desired Skills and Experience
Minimum 8 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry with expertise in realworld evidence medical affairs HEOR or market access
Significant part of previous experience gained in consulting / professional services
Strong interest in developing and delivering innovative solutions across the evidence lifecycle (strategy dissemination)
Proven success in selling complex studies and/or strategic engagements to HQ / Global level
A track record in building client relationships ideally including experience of account strategy
Commercial awareness including experience in balancing scope management and client relationship to ensure commercial objectives are met
Strong analytical problemsolving skills and a solutionorientated mindset
Proven ability to advance ambiguous or conceptual ideas to decision points while engaging multiple stakeholders internal and clients
Experience in managing virtual teams and enabling individuals to perform grow and deliver client work to highquality and standards
Excellent interpersonal and networking skills. Values peoples opinions and encourages knowledge sharing
Previous experience in coaching junior teammembers ideally in a formal coaching role
Offerings development experience familiarity with accepted innovations models e.g. open innovation ideation product platforming immersion or similar would be beneficial
Leadership experience in complex organizations with demonstrated results in aligning people without formal reporting relationships
