We are looking for a Data Engineer to embark on our journey to build a Prime Video Sports tech team in Israel from ground up. Our team will focus on developing products to allow for personalizing the customers experience and providing them with realtime insights and revolutionary experiences using Computer Vision (CV) and Machine Learning (ML). You will get a chance to work on greenfield cuttingedge and largescale engineering and bigdata challenges and a rare opportunity to be one of the founders of the Israel Prime Video Sports tech team in Israel.
Key job responsibilities
Design and deliver big data architectures for experimental and production consumption between scientists and software engineering.
Develop the endtoend automation of data pipelines making datasets readilyconsumable by science and engineering teams.
Create automated alarming and dashboards to monitor data integrity.
Collaborate with internal and external partners to translate business inquiries into an analytical framework using BI tools
Support designing and analyzing statistical tests (e.g. A/B tests) and applying statistical methods to inform datadriven decisions
Act as the subject matter expert for the data structure and usage.
Experience with data modeling warehousing and building ETL pipelines
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Mathematics or a related technical discipline.
Extensive industry experience in Software Development Data Engineering Business Intelligence Data Science or related field with a track record of manipulating processing and extracting value from large datasets.
Handson experience and advanced knowledge of SQL.
Experience using big data technologies (Hadoop Hive Hbase Spark EMR etc..
Experience coding and automating processes using Python or R.
Experience with AWS technologies like Redshift S3 AWS Glue EMR Kinesis FireHose Lambda and IAM roles and permissions
Experience with nonrelational databases / data stores (object storage document or keyvalue stores graph databases columnfamily databases)
Masters in computer science mathematics statistics economics or other quantitative fields.
Experience working with AWS big data technologies (Redshift S3 EMR Glue).
Experience working with bigdata pipelines processing video content.
Background in Big Data nonrelational databases Machine Learning and Data Mining is a plus.
