IT Manager
Position Overview: Our client is seeking an experienced Information Technology (IT) Manager to join their team at either the Wichita or Great Bend KS locations. The IT Manager will provide support and occasional travel to other company locations as needed. Reporting to the Information Technology Director the successful candidate will play a key role in developing and managing our technology initiatives ensuring the security and efficiency of our technology infrastructure and leading a dedicated team of IT professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the companys technology infrastructure including hardware software and network systems.
- Assist in the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures to maintain system security and integrity.
- Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals providing guidance and support as required.
- Ensure the smooth operation of all technology systems troubleshooting and resolving any issues promptly.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with external vendors and service providers.
- Stay abreast of the latest technology trends and advancements making recommendations for system and process improvements.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to align IT strategy with organizational goals and objectives.
- Ensure full compliance with internal and external security and regulatory requirements.
- Achieve business and operational objectives including network and application availability helpdesk responsiveness and backup and recovery.
- Provide timely and professional enduser support to our dealer body.
- Maintain troubleshoot and support hardware software operating systems and applications.
- Assist with user account management including onboarding and offboarding procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to established policies and procedures.
- Support desktop and laptop refresh operations disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
- Provide Cyber Security training to endusers as required.
- Support audio/visual technologies as needed.
- Maintain the highest level of confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues management and customers.
- Willingness to work occasional Saturdays and evenings as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- 5 years of proven experience as an IT Manager or similar role.
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Proficiency in network systems security protocols and software applications.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Preferred: Experience overseeing a multisite organization.
- Preferred: Experience in server management and data storage within a colocated data center environment.
- Preferred: Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms.
- Preferred: Handson management experience in a lean environment.
