At Cleveland Clinic Childrens our team brings expertise to each checkup test and procedure to ensure every child receives the best possible care. As Department Workleader at the Cleveland Clinic Center for Autism you will work closely with fellow staff to support critical programs and quality care for autistic patients and their families. In this role you will coordinate resources for daily assignments and work schedules helping ensure department organization and efficient workflow. Your efforts to serve as an administrative leader allows you to make a positive impact on patients navigating various challenges and support needs.

A caregiver in this position works days from 8:00AM 4:30PM.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

  • Serve as the work leader and perform various duties to support the department.
  • Distribute work to maintain departmental workflow and desk coverage.
  • Supervise the department function and resources in the absences of the manager.
  • Participate on project teams to build competency around specific department tools and methods for organizational performance improvement.
  • Conduct quality monitoring by providing training recommending improved processes and maintaining documented processes and procedures.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

  • High School Diploma/GED and three years of experience in a similar role coordinating multiple tasks OR Associates Degree and three years of required experience OR Bachelors Degree and one year of experience
  • Based on department/institute needs possess a Valid Drivers License (VDL) with current automobile insurance coverage
