AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design planning delivery and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words were the people who keep the cloud running. AWS Data Center Supply Solutions (DCSS) Team works to deliver capacity supply solutions across multiple regions to meet the needs of customer demands. We are a team of highly motivated professionals who enable the capacity needed to support AWS customer growth and optimize the largest cloud services company on earth!
We are looking for an exceptional frontend developer to join an energetic team building stateoftheart land analytics software solutions that empower the DCSS real estate team to deliver capacity to meet global AWS customer needs. You will play a critical role in helping define the frontend architecture and product features and be at the forefront of making direct and immediate business impacts.
Key job responsibilities
* Work closely with product and program managers to build highly responsive and intuitive web applications as part of a land analytics software system
* Understand the spatial and mapping components of the system and integrate spatial data formats mapping libraries and thirdparty backend services to deliver application functionalities
* Own and drive the technical design of scalable and maintainable frontend solutions
* Provide technical feasibility assessments for feature designs and lead technical tradeoff decisions
* Write clean maintainable code and develop reusable UX libraries

3 years of noninternship professional software development experience
2 years of noninternship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language
4 years of noninternship professional front end web or mobile software development using JavaScript HTML and CSS experience
4 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
* Experience with common frontend technologies such as HTML CSS JS TypeScript and Node
* Knowledge of GIS and mapping libraries such as ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript Leaflet OpenLayers or Google Maps API
* Knowledge of integrating frontend web applications with Salesforce APIs
* Knowledge of web services technologies such as REST SOAP HTTP WSDL and XSD

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
