Soccer Graduate Assistant Position Overview: The graduate assistant coach will be involved with the daytoday administration of a Division II Womens Soccer program and must attend all sportrelated activities as required. The graduate assistant coach must be enrolled in an approved graduate program at Concordia University St. Paul and must be making satisfactory progress toward that degree. The graduate assistant coach will support the mission and values of CSP and serve as a mentor and role model to student athletes.
Essential Duties:
- Program administration: Attending and participating in staff meetings (compliance practice planning academic strength & conditioning individuals) assisting with travel arrangements for competition managing players equipment needs; other administrative duties as assigned.
- Technical instruction: Attend all practices and games filming of drills and individual sessions when necessary maintaining statistics when needed preparation and editing of game film and scouting reports.
- Fundraising: organize and participate in fundraising activities as assigned.
- Recruiting: Managing recruiting database correspondence with prospective studentathletes; meeting with recruits and families when needed; talent evaluation of prospective studentathletes managing social media presence.
- Abide by NCAA NSIC GLIAC and CSP rules and regulations and pass NCAA recruiting exam on annual basis.
- Other sportspecific duties as assigned.
Education & Experience:: - Bachelors Degree: Required
- Masters Degree: Admitted into CSP Graduate program
- Required: American Red Cross CPR Certification
Compensation: - $6000 per year for 2 years
- Full tuition waiver upon successful admission into CSP graduate school
