Job Description
The Program Manager Patient Access Improvement & Data Analytics will report to the Director of Patient Care Access and will interact with dozens of administrative and clinical practice leaders across the organization and be a liaison for staff within Health IT Enterprise Analytics Marketing and Strategy. Scope of work is largely at the enterprise or Ambulatory Business Unit level or Patient Care Access division level but may include individual clinics. Scope may include access to sensitive or confidential information.
The Program Manager Patient Access Improvement & Data Analytics will support the organization and individual practices with initiatives intended to improve timely access to care. Responsibilities include but are not limited to performance improvement projects data analysis and development monitoring compliance with policies and management of service level agreements for Central Access Services. The Program Manager together with the Director will hold management responsibility for access improvement initiatives and commitments reporting and projections and ongoing analysis of improvement opportunities and threats. Additionally the role will act as project manager for various projects of midtolarge scope and high degrees of complexity related to access strategic growth and Central Access Services operational units. Examples include management of access policies patient care access program toolkits and new technology adoption to improve access.
The Program Manager must have the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks and work well with administrative leaders staff and clinicians. A high degree of independence initiative assertiveness and diplomacy are necessary in dealing with faculty staff and patients in a complex environment. Customer service will be a focal point of this role. May represent Director on committees or workgroups as needed.
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.
Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
The salary range for this position is $102400 $156000 (Annual Rate).
