Serco is excited to continue our support to the F35 Joint Strike Fighter Program Office (JPO). This contract provides program management support in support of the full acquisition lifecycle of the F35 program to include development production and sustainment.

Our F35 Program Manager (Senior) is located in Crystal City Arlington VA and provides acquisition program management support to the Air Vehicle (AV) Vehicle Systems (VS) Program Management Office (PMO) within the F35 Joint Program Office (JPO) with the purpose to enable overall acquisition program management and program activities for the F35 JPO AV VS PMO Team and collaboration with other F35 JPO PMOs F35 JPO Functional organizations and F35 JPO Directorates and provide analytical technical and administrative support as needed.

Our Senior Program Manager will assist in analysis of technical data in support of acquisition planning and requirements refinement. Provide analysis of technical data required for the evaluation of outcomes against program goals. Support technical evaluations of alternate approaches to solution development.Draft documents in compliance with organizations regulation and policies for government review/approval.Analyze market research data including cost and quality implications.Manage deadlines and maintain accuracy in document reviews.

This is a Hybrid/Telework position.

You will be part of a dynamic team of F35 JPO Program Managers and Analysts who works closely with the customer and other key F35 National Security and Allied stakeholders to deliver quality F35 systems.

In this role you will:

  • Directly support the F35 JPO AV VS PMO Team and provide seniorlevel acquisition program management support to the AV VS PMO.
  • Be responsible for providing seniorlevel acquisition program management support for the management and of the F35 program. Specifically providing assistance and support through continuous and meticulous orchestration and coordination efforts enabling the most effective performance of the program control and program operations duties
  • Draft documents in compliance with organizations regulation and policies for government review/approal
  • Analyze market research data including cost and quality implications
  • Manage deadlines and maintain accuracy in document review
  • Support for technical evaluation of alternate approaches to solution development
  • Analyze technical data in support of acquisition planning requirements refinement and for the evaluation of outcomes against program goals.
  • Ensure that all forms of information are optimally and completely prepared and presented to Air Vehicle (AV) Vehicle Systems (VS) PMO program strategy formulation analysis and decision making often within significant time constraints.
  • Support and ensure the results of strategy formulation and decisions are communicated appropriately both internal and external to the office providing follow up to assure that intended messages and actions are understood.
  • Perform critical program management technical or business analysis of major DoD acquisition systems and provides recommendations to ensure program success. Provides program analysis support for all aspects of the program.
  • Collect complete organize and interpret technical data and financial information relating to aircraft acquisition and product programs.
  • Track program/project status costs technical performance contract performance schedules and risks. This includes integration with AV VS PMO Enterprise Teams and PMOs.
  • Be able to provide clear and concise responses to respond to a variety of programmatic taskings and inquiries.

    be successful in this role you will have:

    • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
    • Masters Degree in Science Engineering Business Management or related discipline
      • or a Bachelors Degree plus 4 years additional work experience related to the labor category functional description 14 years total).
    • The ability to provide onsite support at the F35 Joint Program Office (JPO) located in Crystal City VA a minimum of 23 days per week each week. Onsite days in the JPO office may increase to provide onsite support up to 5 days per week to support the needs of the customer. Exact days in office at the JPO must be coordinated with F35 customer and approved by your Serco manager.
    • At least ten 10 years experience in program management technical or business analysis discipline in weapon systems acquisition and life cycle management.
    • A minimum of six 6 years out of 10 years of recent work experience related to analysis and planning.
    • At least three 3 years in support of a Major Defense Acquisition Program (MDAP).
    • Leadership experience in US Servicerelated military operations or defense acquisition program management related to weapons system acquisition employment and life cycle management.
    • Knowledge in DoD Instruction (DoDI) 5000.2 (Operation of the Defense Acquisition System) DoD Directive (DODD) 5530.03 (International Agreements) and the International Cooperation in Acquisition Technology and Logistics (IC in AT&L) Handbook.
    • The ability to assist with task support of acquisitions financial management risk management systems engineering total ownership cost determination acquisition coordination and communications.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of the principles policies and practices of system acquisition to plan organize and coordinate critical aspects of the development production and deployment of systems subsystems and equipment.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of the system equipment lifecycle phases and the documentation analyses and reviews associated with those phases.
    • The ability to travel 10.
