Clinical Technician Intern Surgical Inpatient / IMC Unit
Day shift 36 hours
TheJohns Hopkins HospitalSurgical Inpatient/ IMC Unit(Zayed 11 West)isa 32bed surgical unit caring for adolescent and adult patients. The unit offers 3 levels of care: floor telemetry and 6 intermediate care beds. Care and services provided: Thoracic Surgery (lung resections pneumonectomy esophagectomy) Urology (RRP TURP) and variety of general surgery patients.
The Clinical Tech Intern works under the supervision of a nurse and taking into consideration the developmental needs of the patient performs routine patient activities and delegated patient care procedures of a specialized and technical nature as competency documentation designates.
