The HVAC Technician will estimate the materials supplies and equipment required for work assignments. Determining the means and methods to be used in accomplishing assigned tasks and securing appropriate materials supplies and equipment from stock and with proper approval of suppliers is also a job duty of the HVAC Technician. Another responsibility of the HVAC Technician is to install maintain repair overhaul and calibrate all types of heating ventilating and air conditioning equipment including pumps boilers burners temperature controls thermostats air conditioning and ventilating units condensers fans evaporators controls related electrical apparatus and smoke and fire detecting and damping systems.
Requirements:
A High School Diploma or Equivalent
Maryland Class C drivers license
Experience:
Four years of HVAC Apprenticeship experience or 10 years of relevant work experience required
Shift:
Dayshift 40 hours per week Full Time
Oncall work required
Starting pay: $36.35 per hour
