You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Division of Pediatric HematologyOncology is recruiting a Nocturnist Hospitalist to cover 812 nights 5:00 pm to 7:15 am) per month in the Pediatric HematologyOncology inpatient unit. Some weekend day coverage may substitute for some nights.
The duties of this position include:
Clinical Activities not related to teaching or research:
Assure the safe efficient high quality and customer oriented management of patient care to the pediatric hematology/oncology population including but not limited to completing a comprehensive assessment of the patients status; developing monitoring and revising as appropriate an evidencebased treatment plan that addresses diagnoses patterns of disease risk factors and treatment alternatives; treat many common acute and chronic health problems; interpret diagnostic tests; prescribe and manage medications and other therapies; provide health teaching with an emphasis on anticipatory guidance and risks of complications of therapy.
Scholarly Activities research/writing abstracts grant supported work presentations etc.:
This position does not include scholarly activities.
Education include types of teaching and types of student taught:
This position does not include education responsibilities.
Administration
This position does not include administrative responsibilities.
Current MD license for the state of Oregon and completion of pediatric residency program.
