Property Manager Multifamily (Affordable Bilingual MultiSite)

Description Summary

Multifamily Property Managers are responsible for maintaining our communities to a marketready standard always ensuring highlevel of service. Multifamily
Property Managers are also responsible for motivating highperforming teams to maximize the performance of the property.

MultiSite Affordable Bilingual experience and skills required. 180 units.

OnSite fulltime at 28 Lamartine Yonkers NY. Compliance in affordable recertifications inspections. HUD Section 8.

Job Description

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

  • Ensuring the smooth running of our affordable community in a fastpaced environment. Overseeing all operations including maintenance capital improvements lease administration budgeting forecasting reporting collections evictions vacancy anticipation marketing lease renewals service contracts expense control audits etc.

  • Providing superior customer service and communication to our residents and prospects to enhance customer satisfaction and increase renewals revenue reputation and profitability. Complete lease/renewal paperwork to ensure completion to company standards.

  • Track and evaluate advertising and all client traffic.

  • Developing mentoring leading and managing a highperforming cohesive team including leasing customer service maintenance and management personnel in order to maximize their engagement and minimize turnover.

  • Driving revenues with your thorough understanding and analysis of competition and development of creative marketing programs.

  • Leading by example. Instilling maintaining and modeling Cushman & Wakefields mission to be the best national management company.

  • Supervise daytoday operations of the entire onsite team ensuring that all policies and procedures are being followed.

  • Maintain effective onsite staff through interviewing hiring and coaching team as necessary.

  • Maintain residents files in accordance with companys standards.

  • Maintain a positive living environment for community residents through prompt conflict resolution and consistent followup.

  • Manage and maintain all aspects of overall community budget and finances.

  • Work with leasing staff to ensure that leasing/marketing goals are being met.

COMPETENCIES:

  • Effective communication and customer service skills

  • Computer literate including Yardi Microsoft Office Suite and internet navigation skills

  • General office bookkeeping and sales skills and excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Determine leasing opportunities of staff and work on goal setting improving the performance of each staff member.

  • Supervise daytoday operations of team ensuring that all C&W policies and procedures are followed.

  • Work with leasing staff to ensure that leasing/marketing goals are being met.

  • Be able to manage a team

  • Perform any other related duties as or assigned.

IMPORTANT EDUCATION

  • Bachelors Degree preferred.

  • NY Real Estate License preferred.

IMPORTANT EXPERIENCE

  • 3 years of Property Manager experience affordable required

  • 3 years of onsite multifamily property experiencein NYC market required

  • HUD Section 8 experience required including recertifications inspections; MOR REAC

  • Bilingual English Spanish required

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers phones photocopiers filing cabinets and fax machines. Regularly required to travel.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job the employee may need to stand and walk for extended or continuous periods of time. They must be able to ascend and descend staircases ladders and/or step stools and may be to travel outside between buildings in varying outdoor weather conditions. The employee may also be regularly to remain in a stationary position (sit or stand) for 85 of the time; regularly operate office machinery. The employee must be able to travel up to 15 of the time. Travel may vary in frequency and duration. The employee must demonstrate the ability to exert up to 25 pounds occasionally and/or up to 25 pounds frequently and/or up to 25 pounds of force constantly to lift carry push pull or move objects.

The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.


The compensation for the position is: $74417.50 $87550.00
