We are looking for a passionate technical and resultsoriented Principal Technical Program Manager to join our team. The Principal Technical Program Manager in the Datapath organization owns programs planning and client engagement. The TPM builds internal mechanisms to maximize the capacity of Datapath across engineering teams spread across 4 locations. With hundreds of client teams the TPM in partnership with peer PMTs builds customerfacing mechanisms to improve roadmap prioritization transparency and customer satisfaction. Leaders in this space need to create a culture of innovation encouraging their colleagues to find new and better ways to identify and solve problems.
The TPM drives large programs like reducing builder toil improving cost of operations for Datapath and client teams with significantly complex crossfunctional technology initiatives. They remediate critical problems and manage escalations as needed. They work on disambiguating complex requirements driving clarity building consensus and they define architectural strategies to meet the needs of Amazon builders developing logic for Datapath and improve their productivity by proposing solutions to streamline their experience.
