Job Description
Job Title: 5th 8th Math Teacher
Location: Walnut Bend ISD
Position Type: FullTime

Walnut Bend ISD is seeking a passionate and dedicated 5th 8th Math Teacher to join our dynamic team. Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans in line with state and district curriculum standards.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student growth creativity and enthusiasm for learning.
- Use assessment data to guide instruction and ensure student progress.
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student performance and classroom activities.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to continuously improve teaching strategies.
- Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to support student achievement and school goals.
- Maintain classroom organization manage student behavior and promote a safe and respectful environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Education or related field.
- Valid Texas teaching certification for 5th 8th grade or the ability to obtain one.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues students and parents.
- Passion for teaching and a commitment to high academic standards.
