As a midlevel tools engineer on the Overwatch team you will be part of a talented and passionate team developing a world class game editor unlocking the potential of our artists and designers to create compelling and epic features that will keep players engaged for years to come. The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of the game development process including but not limited to UX workflow design data processing and various 3D art disciplines as well as have at least 3 years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Design Art and Engineering teams to simplify improve and create tools to maximize team efficiency and unlock creativity
- Identify and resolve workflow issues and discover opportunities for improvement
- Maintain tools for performance stability and errorfree operation
Requirements:
- Strong Programming skills in C#
- Programming knowledge in C
- Passion for tools and software development with a serviceoriented attitude
- Strong code review interpersonal and communications skills
- 3 years of experience in software development
Pluses:
- UI design experience
- Experience with WPF
- Experience with art pipelines
- Experience automating processes
- A degree in computer science or a related field

You can learn more by visiting the U.S. the standard base pay range for this role is $37.26 $68.93 Hourly. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately your specific range and offer will be based on several factors including relevant experience performance and work location. Your Talent Professional can share this roles range details for your local geography during the hiring process. In addition to a competitive base pay employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed. While we strive to provide competitive offers to successful candidates new hire compensation is negotiable.
