Location/Division Specific Information:
Mount Prospect IL Clinical Trials Division.
Clinical Trials Division (CTD) partners with pharmaceutical and biotech customers around the world to ensure the right patients get the right therapies in the right doses at the right time a concept that we internally accept as There is a Patient Waiting.

How Will You Make an Impact:
Packaging / Labeling Technician plays an important role in ensuring the information on the packaging such as drug name dosage warnings and instructions is accurate clear and meets all regulatory standards.
  • Label assemble and package pharmaceutical products.
  • Operate basic packaging equipment perform manual or automated filling and packaging of blistered and bottled pharmaceutical products; disassemble and clean machinery.
  • Ensure inprocess inspections are performed.

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:
  • Required: Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing operations packaging production lab setting or related field
  • Preferred: Experience in a cGMP environment

Knowledge Skills Abilities:
  • Basic digital literacy data entry log in/out navigation
  • Ability to read understand and convey pertinent written and verbal information.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to problem solve.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment
  • Required to work in variety of clean room environments: Ambient lighting Refrigerated 2 to 8 C) and Freezer 20 C) Packaging areas 80100.
  • Able to wear clean room gowning and (PPE) required; filtering face masks PAPR N 95 masks half face masks and safety glasses.
  • Vision requirements: close distance color peripheral depth perception peripheral.
  • Able to pass TSA background check.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Illinois is $17.80$23.00.
