The University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC)Department of Anesthesiology is seeking physician anesthesiologists forfulltime academic faculty and clinician positions. Individuals withfellowship training in the following Are strongly encouraged to apply:
Critical Care Medicine (CCM)
Regional Anesthesia (RA)
Chronic Pain Management (CP)
Obstetrical (OB) Anesthesia
Trauma Anesthesia
Qualified generalists are also being sought. The patient population includes a heavy caseload in ortho trauma and high risk OB.
Tenure and nontenure track positions are available.
Duties include direct patient care as well as teaching and supervision of nurse anesthetists students fellows and residents. Opportunities for clinical and basic science research are available and participation is encouraged.
Academic rank is commensurate with training and experience and compensation is highly competitive. Eligible candidates should be board certified or eligible for examination by the ABA and eligible for licensure in the State of Tennessee.
