Job Description
The US Home and Lifestyle (H&L) organization is seeking a talented Finance Manager to join the team. This is an exciting opportunity to thoughtpartner with Toys Category leaders drive missioncritical business decisions and provide finance leadership within US Stores.
The successful candidate will be a selfstarter with a deep passion for controllership and proven ability for PnL stewardship. This is a great opportunity for some one looking to broaden their end to end PnL management experience while influencing complex business decisions and deep diving high growth initiatives. Additionally this person will crossfunctionally partner across operations retail category leaders merchandising and advertising and marketing teams to ensure we are striking optimal tradeoffs for decision support.
Key job responsibilities
Serve as Finance leader for the Toys category working directly with Category leaders to drive Business forward
Lead PnL reviews and present Profitability insights
Perform financial reporting adhoc business analyses and financial modeling
Contribute to business decisions through insightful analysis factoring in endtoend impact to systems and financial controls
Lead and influence continuous improvement opportunities through automation
Serve as PnL steward facilitating reviews with crossfunctional partners and educating other stakeholders on topline vs bottomline trade offs and Profit drivers
Partner with Category teams and Supply chain on accurate timely forecasts that capture categoryspecific nuances like seasonality
5 years of tax finance or a related analytical field experience
BA or BS in Finance Accounting Business Economics or a highly analytical field (e.g. Engineering Math Computer Science) and 5 years of finance experience or Masters degree and 3 years of finance experience
Knowledge of SQL/ETL
MBA or CPA
6 years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models analysis and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g. financial savings operational improvements or customer benefits) experience
Experience working with largescale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL MS Access Essbase Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle SAP Lawson JD Edwards)
Experience delivering forecasting budgeting and variance analysis and data interpretation of results

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
