Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Data Science & Analytics Manager with expertise in SQL Python web portal development Amazon Quicksight dashboarding and data science principles. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in analytics data management and web application development. This role requires a highly analytical solutionoriented professional who can drive insights and lead datadriven initiatives to support decisionmaking across departments.
Key job responsibilities
Management and Analysis
oDevelop and manage complex SQL queries to manipulate and extract data from large databases for analysis.
oUse Python for data processing analysis and automation to provide actionable insights and maintain data quality.
Portal Development
oDesign develop and maintain web portals for data visualization user interaction and information sharing.
oCollaborate with frontend and backend development teams to ensure seamless user experience and functionality.
and Visualization
oBuild and maintain Amazon QuickSight dashboards to visualize data and support realtime decisionmaking.
oDesign clear and intuitive dashboards that provide users with comprehensive insights into business and operational metrics.
Science and Advanced Analytics
oApply data science methodologies and statistical analysis to interpret trends patterns and correlations.
oImplement machine learning models and predictive analytics to enhance business forecasting and decisionmaking.
Leadership
oOversee data projects from inception to completion including requirements gathering development testing and implementation.
oEnsure timely delivery of projects while meeting high standards of quality and accuracy.
Communication
oPartner with business teams to understand analytical needs and deliver insights in a clear and impactful way.
oTrain and mentor junior analysts and team members in SQL Python QuickSight and data science concepts.
1 years of data engineering experience
Experience with data modeling warehousing and building ETL pipelines
Experience with one or more query language (e.g. SQL PL/SQL DDL MDX HiveQL SparkSQL Scala)
Experience with one or more scripting language (e.g. Python KornShell)
Experience with big data technologies such as: Hadoop Hive Spark EMR
Experience with any ETL tool like Informatica ODI SSIS BODI Datastage etc.
