SageMaker Training Jobs is looking for a Software Development Engineer!
This is a great opportunity to join the SageMaker Training Jobs team which lies at the very core of SageMaker. SageMaker Training is a set of managed services that allow customers to train AI models using large datasets on managed infrastructure. As the industry leader SageMaker training is the fastest easiest and most costeffective platform for data scientists to train their models. Learn more at will be responsible for building and maintaining missioncritical systems in our bestinclass machine learning platform and scale those systems to support training jobs that run on hundreds of thousands of machines with less than 0.1 failure rate.
You will constantly experiment with new technologies and ideas in order to innovate on our platform and help ensure SageMaker remains bestinclass.
You will be expected to perform at the highest levels of engineering and operational excellence: building highly resilient and scalable systems writing clear and effective documents actively contribute to discussions on technical direction and strategy and raise the bar on all fronts.

3 years of noninternship professional software development experience
2 years of noninternship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language
3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
