Job Description
Teach swim lessons for children and adults. Enforce all policies and regulations and participate in regular inservice candidates have the availability to begin work in May 2025.
Skills:
- Must be able to swim 50 yards each of the following strokes: front crawl back crawl breast stroke side stroke elementary backstroke and butterfly
- Must be comfortable teaching and responding to questions regarding the American Red Cross Learn to Swim Program
- Must be able to respond in an emergency at any time
Certifications:
- Current American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor Certification
Advertised Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to swim
- Must be able to lift no less than 30 pounds
- Must be able to demonstrate and teach each of the following swim strokes: front crawl back crawl breast stroke side stroke elementary backstroke and butterfly
