Amazons vendor recruitment team is looking for a talented Senior Vendor Manager within the Amazon Fashion Retail business. Our vision is to drive scaled growth for our Retail business in Europe (EU) through cultivating vendor partnerships and onboarding the brands most desired by EU customers. In this role you will be responsible for onboarding and scaling the most customer relevant fashion brands across the EU for the first 1218 months on Amazon Retail.
Key job responsibilities
Your objectives will be to help build the best possible selection for our customers with the development of partnerships with new fashion vendors. Your job will consist of prospecting assessing reaching out to and launching new EU Fashion vendors on Amazon. In your daytoday job you will be faced with numerous challenges such as:
Prospect and reach out to new vendors analyze their potential for Amazon. You will lead first steps by coldcalling potential partners or attending commercial events and trade fairs and confidently explaining advantages and benefits of partnering with Amazon
Be a business consultant to new vendors and provide insights and advice for them being able to deal with different business profiles. Help new vendors to integrate their catalogue data into Amazon platform master Amazons internal tools and train vendors on how to use these tools.
Be the point of contact of vendors: you will help the entire recruitment cycle of new vendors from your pipeline ram up to able to work autonomously perform
Negotiate Annual terms with a vendor to ensure vendor is set up for long term sustainable growth on Amazon.
Plan conduct deliver and report analyses to understand the performance of new vendors
Help to develop and improve recruiting and onboarding processes assist in removing any technical blockers identifying technical improvement areas and renegotiate terms in case profitability of vendor deteriorates.
Operate in a in a fastmoving and often ambiguous environment you will own a project in MVR work autonomously with cross functional stakeholders think both strategically and tactically and take full control and responsibility for achieving your goals.
7 years of retailer business management/consulting with negotiations and delivering results experience
Bachelors degree
Demonstrated track record of success in meeting and exceeding business and/or financial KPI
Excellent written and oral presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts to crossfunctional internal and external audiences
Ability to work with a wide range of people at all decisionmaking levels including Csuite
Experience with large data sets and insight generation using Excel SQL or other data analysis tools
Experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce to track sales cycle activities
Knowledge of EU languages would be an added advantage
SQL skills would be an added advantage
