This is a parttime position available from Monday to Friday with the potential for fulltime employment. The schedule is from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The hourly pay rate is $14 based on experience and position is situated at our center located at 1108 Peachtree Street Cocoa FL 32922.
The Toddler Teacher plans and implements curriculum serves as a model and mentor and coordinates engaging developmental activities for children ages 1 year old through late 2 years old. Youll have the opportunity to build a dynamic classroom environment create funfilled learning activities and support the growth and success of children.
What Youll Do:Coordinate and implement educational curriculum by developing classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards
Lead by example and encourage teaching team success through modeling and coaching
Plan individual and group ageappropriate activities to engage children and encourage social cognitive and emotional growth
Follow all Ocoee Oaks policies and state regulations
Maintain a personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement
What We Need from You:High School Diploma and/or degree in Early Childhood Education or related field of study preferred
FL DCF 45 hours required
FL DCF Transcript Please send transcript to You can retrieve the transcript from CDA for infants and Toddlers highly preferred
Must clear a full DCF level II background check.
At least 13 years of professional early childhood training/experience
Ability to write a lesson plan based on our curriculum Beyond Learning
CPR Certification and First Aid Certifications plus
