Our Munitions teams in Benalla and Mulwala produce propellants explosives and munitions for defence and commercial uses. With ongoing investment into research and development we produce some of the worlds most highperforming guided weapons and explosive ordnance systems. Working from our Melbourne Office in the World Trade Centre on Wurundjeri land your role purpose will be
Be responsible for contributing to the system specification product design manufacturing design test and evaluation and production management of large rocket motors through the HighSpeed Weapons Program
Be a driving force for applying systems engineering discipline to the development of high speed weapon systems with a focus on the propulsion subsystems and warheads integration.
Work with our customers partners and subcontractors to develop feasible technical solutions and deliver effective system engineering disciplines.
Contribute to the development and of system specification design interface management integration and test programs achieve quality performance compliance and manufacturing assurance
Work with our customers consortium partners crossfunctional teams and supplychain to develop system architectures specifications and drive integration and test programs in a deliver timely safe and quality program outcomes
Leverage your engineering background to drive innovation and creativity in collaboration with colleagues peers and stakeholders
On day one in this role well expect you to bring the following skills experience and behaviours:
Experience in systems engineering encompassing the design development and production of sophisticated engineering systems ideally within the Defence industry.
Proven experience with requirements and architecture definition integration and test.
Experience developing a range of systems engineering artefacts and contributing to formal systems engineering reviews.
Requirement management and Model Based Systems Engineering software experience (DOORS Polarin Capella).
Experience working in Agile product development for rapid prototyping and low TRL systems.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in crossfunctional teams and contribute to a culture of creativity and teamwork.
Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Systems Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
