Summary of Job Duties:
Responsible for providing general and preventative maintenance for low voltage electronic components within all Residence Halls and Housing Managed Greek Houses. These duties include but are not limited to maintaining and programming Fire Alarm Panels (which monitor smoke and heat detectors and the fire sprinkler system) Door Access Controls (which include all electronic accessed doors) and CCTV Surveillance Systems. This position is weather essential.
Regular reliable and nondisruptive attendance is an essential job duty as is the ability to create and maintain collegial harmonious working relationships with others.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Formal education equivalent of a high school diploma
At least three years of experience in the electronics field or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications:
NICET Certification
NICET Level II Certification
NICET Level II Certification and 10 years of continuous experience
Journeyman Electrical License
Knowledge Skills & Abilities (KSAs):
Knowledge of basic hand tools and small power tools
Ability to perform manual labor under varying working conditions
Ability to follow oral and written instructions
