Covestro is organized into two reporting segments: Performance Materials (PM) and Solutions & Specialties (S&S). While Performance Materials operates as a single business entity Solutions & Specialties comprises six business entities: Engineering Plastics Coatings & Adhesives Tailored Urethanes Thermoplastic Polyurethanes Specialty Films and Elastomers.

We are an energetic and motivated team within the Business Entity Tailored Urethanes. Our task is to develop and sell solutions tailored to our customers needs in the Automotive and other industries on a global scale. We want to further grow our business and are always curious for new ideas. For that reason we offer an Internship in Sales & Market Development with focus on Automotive Market Intelligence.

In addition to our wide range of benefits you can expect an attractive salary of 2100 gross/month for a fulltime position.

Your Opportunities at Covestro

• Conduct comprehensive desk research on automotive industry trends specifically focusing on polyurethane applications

• Execute technical benchmarking studies through virtual teardown analyses of selected car models

• Perform data assessment by selecting and filtering specific information from extensive datasets

• Develop and maintain market models to forecast demands in specific automotive industries

• Explore and implement AIdriven solutions to enhance marketing assessments and improve operational efficiency

This Makes You Our Perfect Match

• Currently pursuing masters degree in a technical or businessrelated field preferably a combination of both disciplines (e.g. Industrial Engineering)

• Very good MS Office skills with advanced Excel proficiency

• Experience in scriptbased programming languages (e.g. VBA or Python) or strong willingness to learn

• Background in car design and automotive systems are of benefit

• Independent and systematic work approach with quick comprehension skills

• Excellent communication skills and enthusiasm for team collaboration (m/f/d)

• Very good written and spoken English skills; German is a benefit

The duration of the internship is preferably 6 months.
