You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailUtah State University Extension invites applications for a County Extension faculty position in the Home and Community Department. This is a 12month fiscalyear appointment tenure track Extension Assistant/Associate Professor or nontenure track Professional Practice Extension Assistant Professor Position. Extension faculty develop implement evaluate and coordinate researchbased educational programs to enhance the quality of life for youth and adults. Extension faculty also recruit train and supervise volunteer leaders and serve as a liaison between local clientele other resource agencies and Utah State University administrators faculty and programs. This Extension position includes university responsibilities and is based in Juab role will be split: 95 Extension and 5 Service.
An office will be provided at the USU Extension office in Nephi Utah.
Rank will be commensurate with experience qualifications and current rank. Appointment opportunities include Extension Assistant or Associate Professor (tenure track) or Professional Practice Extension Assistant Professor (nontenure track). A Masters degree is required for Extension Assistant or Associate ranks. A Bachelors degree and substantial professional experience is required for the Professional Practice Extension Assistant Professor.

Minimum Qualifications:
An earned masters degree (tenure track) or bachelors degree with significant experience related to the position (professional practice) in a discipline such as: family and consumer sciences public health nutrition food sciences social work mental health psychology finance business human development family studies health and wellness or related areas.
Ability to plan organize and direct educational programs
Experience in teaching adult and/or youth audiences
Excellent oral and written English communication skills
Ability to act as a liaison between federal state university and county clientele
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team member
Must have a current drivers license auto insurance and access to reliable transportation.
Must be willing to work with community leaders partners agencies and USU countyfaculty and state specialists to meet various county needs in the program areas described in theposition summary including reaching diverse audiences.
