Job Description
Employee Experience Communications is seeking a highjudgment and resultsdriven writer and communications professional to lead Executive Communications for our team. You should have a proven record of delivering results for executives in a complex company or organization. This role is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive communication strategies that effectively connect Amazon leaders with employees enhance the employee experience and build trust across the organization. This person works closely with senior leaders to develop key messages prepare remarks support engagements and manage social platforms.
Key job responsibilities
Strategic Communications Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive and impactful communication strategies and plans to support Amazons employee experience objectives and priorities. Collaborate with select senior stakeholders to define key messages and identify the most impactful vehicles for those messages. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams (Corporate Communications HR Legal) to ensure consistent messaging and alignment on key topics affecting the employee experience.
Thought Leadership and Messaging: Craft clear and impactful messaging that connects with employees across all levels of the organization. Develop talking points speeches internal blog posts social media content and other communication materials for executives that align with our peoplecentered vision and values. Collaborate with executives to ensure their authentic voice and message is effectively conveyed and develop clear and concise briefing materials.
Event Support: Develop strategy for and execute high visibility engagements including internal global meetings town halls video script writing content creation and .
8 years of recent professional communications or public relations experience
Bachelors degree in communications public relations or a related field
Experience creating content for leaders of complex tech organizations: digital written video and/or audio communications materials
Track record in communications and thought leadership for senior business leaders
Proficient in using various communication channels and tools including social media platforms
Portfolio of work demonstrating the ability to tell complex stories in relatable terms
Excellent written and oral communications skills
Outstanding attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal and relationshipbuilding skills to work effectively with executives and stakeholders at all levels
Demonstrated ability to think strategically anticipate challenges and develop proactive communication strategies
Selfmotivated individual requiring minimal direction
Customerservice oriented with strong people skills
Demonstrated experience building trust and influencing crossfunctional teams and stakeholders
Ability to think strategically and implement ideas from ideation to measurement/evaluation
Flexibility to work in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple priorities

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $106400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
