Job Description
Responsibilities:
Under limited direction responsible for developing applications and processes required to extract transform cleanse and manage data in support of the organizations analytics ecosystem. As a core member of a highperformance team ensure data integration services are consistently and reliably maintained and analytics capabilities are delivered at an optimum level helping the organization identify insights from a large number of diverse datasets.
- Study data sources by interviewing users; define analyze and validate data objects; identify relationship among data objects.
- Plan data integration process by developing common definitions of sourced data; design common keys in physical data structure; establish data integration specifications; examine data applications.
- Examine data models and determine bestfit data interchange methods.
- Assess middleware tools for data integration transformation and routing.
- Develop project scope and specifications identifying factors that negatively impact integration; forecast resource requirements and establish delivery timetables.
- Design specify and select integration and data solutions consider current and future functionality enterprise data sources and stores security infrastructure and performance.
- Deliver data integration by integrating data shared across legacy new development and purchased package environments using various technologies and toolsets.
- Map data establish interfaces develop and modify functions programs routines and stored procedures to export transform and load data.
- Meet performance parameters; resolve and escalate integration issues; document operational procedures and data connections.
- Work with Data Engineers and Database Administrators to design and create physical data structures.
- Work with Data Scientists Business Intelligence Developers and other developers build integrations tools and scripts that take advantage of the insights to support organizational strategic clinical adhoc and regulatory imperatives.
Qualifications :
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Mathematics Information Systems or closely related field and three 3 years of experience with each of the following:
- Designing and developing integrations to internal and external applications.
- Integration patterns concepts and integration platforms.
- Delivering and supporting real time integration solutions.
- Data integration tools (e.g. Pentaho Kettle SSIS etc).
- C/C Python and Ruby.
- SQL PLSQL and Unix Scripting.
