Job Description
Job Title: Meta Media Buyer (Associate Manager)
Location: Remote South Africa
About the Role:
We are seeking a Meta Media Buyer to join our growing team. In this role you will work closely with one of our Senior Growth Managers and take on an integral position in supporting the development and of Meta advertising campaigns. This is a collaborative learningdriven opportunity where you will serve as a shadow to a Senior Growth Manager gaining deep insight into campaign strategy and client communication. You will have the opportunity to learn from one of our top growth professionals while contributing to the daytoday tasks of campaign management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Senior Growth Manager: Work closely with a Senior Growth Manager to support the of Meta ad campaigns.
- Campaign Monitoring: Keep a close eye on active campaigns tracking performance reviewing budgets and understanding the context behind the decisions being made.
- Shadow Client Calls: Participate in client calls providing support and insights without leading the conversation. Learn to interpret client goals and translate them into actionable ad strategies.
- Meta Ads : Build and optimize Meta (Facebook & Instagram) ads within the platform ensuring alignment with campaign objectives and performance goals.
- Campaign Reporting: Assist in the preparation of performance reports analyzing key metrics to optimize campaign performance.
- Crossfunctional Collaboration: Work with creative strategy and operations teams to ensure cohesive campaign and troubleshooting where necessary.
- Budget Management: Support with budget allocation and pacing to ensure campaigns are running within specified targets.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 12 years of experience in media buying specifically in Meta platforms (Facebook/Instagram) with a basic understanding of paid social media strategies.
- Familiarity with Meta Ads Manager: Handson experience with Meta Ads Manager for campaign creation optimization and reporting.
- Analytical Mindset: Ability to analyze campaign data draw insights and apply learnings to improve performance.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail to ensure ads are built correctly and running smoothly.
- Strong Communication Skills: Comfortable participating in client calls and discussing campaign performance.
- Eagerness to Learn: You are highly motivated curious and eager to develop your skills under the mentorship of a Senior Growth Manager.
- SelfStarter: Ability to take initiative manage multiple tasks and work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of A/B testing audience targeting and conversion tracking on Meta platforms.
- Experience with other digital advertising platforms (Google Ads TikTok LinkedIn) is a plus.
- Basic understanding of analytics tools (Google Analytics etc. for tracking campaign performance.
