The Business Development Manager M&A is responsible for identifying acquisition targets that align with business initiatives for the development and overall external growth strategy of the Business Assurance line of business in our North American Market. They will work closely with the Senior Business Development Manager M&A to identify potential targets and support the workstream that leads to an executed transaction.
This position is 100 remote.
- Identifies possible acquisition targets based on the specific business units strategy
- Makes initial contact with a target to introduce the idea of a possible acquisition.
- Leads preparation of the initial presentation of acquisition proposal for the specific business unit Produces presentations spreadsheets information memoranda etc.
- At all times complies with SGS Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
Education and Experience
- Bachelors degree or equivalent years of work experience required
- 5 years experience in business development and/or sales required
Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities
- Ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects in a fastpaced highly professional environment.
- Selfstarter and positive attitude
- Technical and industry knowledge
- Excellent followup and followthrough
- Attend data integrity training and sign off acknowledging understanding
