Job Description

As a Golf Course Captain Server with Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge you will be working with both our banquet and outlet operations will provide exposure to all facets of the Food & Beverage operation.

Starting Rate of Pay : $19.96/ hour

Your Job Duties Include:

  • Help lead the F&B Outlet team in all aspects of the department and ensure service standards are followed
  • Assist guests regarding menu items in an informative and helpful way
  • Take an active role with the training and development of new and existing colleagues
  • Build and maintain a high level of customer service and staff morale through outlet promotions and staff incentive programs
  • Ensure that the outlet is operating within the confines of the ALCB regulations
  • Have full knowledge of all menu items garnishes contents and preparation methods
  • Prepare and serve cocktails and other beverages
  • Bus and reset tables
  • Perform opening cleaning and closing duties
  • Respect golf etiquette and rules while on the course
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications :

Your experience and skills include:

  • Minimum 1 years serving experience required (must include at least 6 months a la carte service)
  • Previous leadership experience required
  • Valid Alberta drivers license required
  • Excellent knowledge of wine cocktails and beer required
  • Pro Serve certification required
  • Banquets experience preferred
  • Micros POS experience an asset

Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
