Finance Associate (Bookkeeper & SaaS Financial Analyst)
Location: Remote (Preference for Latin America; Open to South Africa)
Compensation: $2000 $2500/month (based on experience)
Industry: SaaS / Technology
Schedule: Fulltime aligned with EST or CST hours
Job Summary:
We re seeking a Finance Associate to take ownership of both monthly bookkeeping and SaaS metric reporting for a growing software company in the local food supply chain space. This hybrid role blends classic accounting functions with modern SaaS financial analytics. Youll be the goto person for accurate financial records and insightful performance tracking through KPI dashboards and spreadsheets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform fullcycle bookkeeping: categorize transactions reconcile accounts prepare profit & loss statements balance sheets and cash flow reports
- Manage and execute the monthend closing process
- Track and report 30 key SaaS metrics (e.g. ARR CAC payback period churn new customer count LTV)
- Maintain and enhance spreadsheetbased dashboards and metric tracking systems
- Support financial modeling and forecasting activities as needed
- Collaborate crossfunctionally for financial input and reporting accuracy
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in bookkeeping and financial reporting
- Strong understanding of SaaS financial metrics
- Previous experience in a SaaS or startup environment
- Advanced skills in Excel/Google Sheets
- Familiarity with accounting tools such as QuickBooks or Xero
- Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
- Selfdriven with the ability to thrive in a fastpaced evolving startup setting
- Fluent in English (written and verbal)
Preferred:
- Based in Latin America for time zone alignment
- Experience with businesses that have multiple revenue streams (subscriptions transactions services)
