Job Description
Job Title: Sonographer
Location: Dayton/Cincinnati OH
Salary: $36.00/hour
Shift: Monday Friday 9:00 AM 5:30 PM
Job Description:
We are seeking a mobile Sonographer to provide diagnostic ultrasound services in a variety of settings including nursing homes home care facilities processing sites and correctional institutions across Dayton and Cincinnati. This fulltime role operates independently and is essential for delivering quality timely imaging services directly to patients in need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and process general ultrasound exams using portable equipment
- Digitally transmit sonographic images to a Radiologist for interpretation
- Travel between multiple patient sites in a company vehicle
- Accurately verify physician orders and patient identity
- Adhere to HIPAA and patient safety protocols
- Maintain equipment and vehicle in proper working condition
- Communicate professionally with dispatch management and facility staff
- Conduct daily scanning and uploading of billing and exam paperwork
- Provide training and support to other technologists as needed
Qualifications:
- ARDMS certification (or equivalent)
- Valid drivers license with good driving record
- Must pass drug screening and background check
- Physical exam and TB screening at hire and annually
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and adapt to various environments
- Must be comfortable with potential prison exams
