Benton School District
Benton School District is seeking a dedicated and experienced leader to serve as the Assistant Superintendent of Support Services. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of essential district services and fostering a safe and wellmaintained learning environment for students and staff. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership operational expertise and a commitment to student success.
Position Overview:
The Assistant Superintendent of Support Services is responsible for overseeing the districts support operations ensuring that all services are effectively managed to enhance the educational experience of students. This role requires collaboration with various departments to maintain high standards of safety efficiency and quality across the district.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Supervise school safety initiatives to maintain a secure learning environment.
- Supervise maintenance and facilities operations ensuring buildings and grounds are wellkept.
- Supervise transportation services ensuring efficient and safe student travel.
- Supervise Alternative Learning Environment (ALE) programs to support students with unique educational needs.
- Supervise athletic direction and athletics programs ensuring student participation and competitive success.
- Supervise the work of nurses across the district to promote student health and wellness.
- Supervise technology services ensuring reliable access to digital tools for learning and administration.
- Address parent concerns for students in grades 1012 providing clear communication and resolution strategies.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree or higher in educational leadership administration or a related field.
- Proven experience in school or districtlevel leadership.
- Strong knowledge of operations school safety and student services.
- Excellent problemsolving communication positive outlook and teambuilding skills.
