Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) Transforming Young Lives
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Integrated Front Door team who work together to ensure a timely consistent response to all contacts to provide the best outcomes for Wiltshires children and young people.
We work in the Early Support Hub (ESH) to offer Early Help to families referred for support into IFD who reach either the blue or green threshold. Our team offers various lead roles and specialist support from our experiences managing a caseload of families daily. Families are offered signposting Early Support Assessment (ESA) or referred to other agencies for support. We ensure there are no further risks to families after speaking to parents children and other professionals involved. We also offer consultations via the IFD main line for anonymous concerns where a Request for Service (RFS) may be needed and offer ESA consultation support.
As a Domestic Abuse Early Help Advisor you will provide advice and signposting to professionals and families to appropriate resources. You will be the lead and link worker for Domestic Abuse in the IFD and build positive relationships with partner agencies. You will deliver training and consultations to professionals and partners.
Besides our daytoday caseload we have lead roles and share the delivery of the IFD tour via PowerPoint presentation. The role is fastpaced and can be intense but ultimately very rewarding as we help families prior to higher social care escalation across Wiltshire.
The ideal candidate will have experience with domestic abuse perpetrators and/or survivors and understand the impact on children and families. Excellent communication skills and comfort in a multiagency environment are essential.
