  • $75000 $85000 plus Super (depending on experience).

Position Summary:

The Intermediate Accountant will play a key role in delivering highquality accounting and tax services to our clients. This position involves preparing financial statements and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles strong analytical skills and the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review financial statements ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
  • Assist in the preparation and filing of individual company partnership and trust tax returns.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients providing exceptional service and addressing their accounting and taxrelated needs.
  • Ensure compliance with federal state and local tax laws and regulations.
  • Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
  • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and accounting standards and participate in ongoing professional development activities.

Experience Required:

  • CPA or working towards CPA qualifications desirable.
  • 3 years of experience in Australian public accounting with a focus on tax preparation and financial statement preparation.
  • SMSF experience desirable but not necessary.
  • Proficiency in accounting software Xero and QuickBooks.
  • Strong understanding of Australian accounting principles and tax regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities.
  • High attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
