Overview:
Join the forefront of renewable energy innovation! Were seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to develop control systems for utilityscale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of energy storage technology while working with industryleading experts in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and oversee implementation of control system requirements for utilityscale energy storage projects
Collaborate with equipment suppliers on factory integration testing of new hardware designs
Create processes for managing control system requirements across a large fleet of power plants
Support commissioning teams during plant turnover
Serve as a controls subject matter expert for both internal and external stakeholders
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Engineering degree or technical degree in a related field
5 years of SCADA/Controls engineering experience
Strong background in power plant controls and renewable energy
Experience developing and verifying software requirements
Excellent project management and communication skills
Ability to travel domestically and internationally <10
