- Collect clean and preprocess data from internal and external sources to ensure accuracy completeness and consistency.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends anomalies and insights that drive business value.
- Apply statistical techniques and predictive modelling to analyse large datasets and uncover meaningful patterns and relationships.
- Design and create purposebuilt and scalable standardized reports. The tools used will include but not be limited to Excel Pivots Power Query and Power BI.
- Participate in the design and implementation of data analytics projects including experimental design hypothesis testing and A/B testing.
- Generate and distribute daily weekly and monthly reports in line with reporting timetables. Identify opportunities to improve system performance integration and analytics capabilities.
- Processing of debt load and direct payment files.
- Management and tracking of success rates for collection strategies and campaigns.
- Deliver enduser support and provide insights or direct how staff can find insights in reports.
- Take on ad hoc tasks from staff and meet their requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics Statistics Computer Science Economics or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience working as a Data Analyst Data Engineer Business Intelligence Analyst or something similar.
- Experience in Power BI and Power Query. Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Outlook Sharepoint Teams and Excel.
- Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using SQL Python R or similar programming languages.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced dynamic environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of the debt collection process and how to measure key KPI’s.
- DebtCol functionality is a plus e.g. report building debt load mapping batch updates.
- Familiarity with database systems data warehousing concepts and ETL processes is a plus.
