Your role

Join the Selleys Operations team in this newly created role supporting the upcoming construction of a worldclass sealants facility in SouthWest Sydney. Reporting to the Project Manager this role is responsible for leading the electrical automation and instrumentation activities throughout the project lifecycle. This involves planning design oversight organising and commissioning of various project aspects to ensure timely and successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Writing specifications reviewing and approving design documents ensuring compliance with project requirements and coordinating design activities with other project disciplines
• Manage the instrumentation design aspects of the project
• Managing the budget for electrical and instrumentation activities
• Identify and assess potential risks associated with electrical and instrumentation activities
• Collaborate with various project stakeholders including clients contractors and suppliers
• Oversee the quality of electrical and instrumentation work throughout the project

Skills & Experience

• Qualified in an Electrical Instrumentation or Automation related field
• Automation electrical and instrumentation experience with large scale industrial projects
• Experience with decommissioning design implementation and commissioning
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Solid project management and people leadership skills
• Familiarity and understanding of relevant Australian Standards and Codes
• Experience in implementing Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for automated manufacturing processes
