Are you interested in a career overseeing drug and alcohol prevention efforts that will make a lasting positive impact in our community CMSU is looking for a motivated and dependable individual willing to provide prevention services with a focus on schools and the community. These prevention services include drug and alcohol education and training for school students and staff. We offer a supportive team environment and a generous benefit package. As a Drug and Alcohol Prevention Specialist your work will involve providing programs and prevention activities for students parents and community groups to promote awareness of drug and alcohol problems issues and trends in the community. Using a variety of media you will disseminate educational materials to enhance awareness of drug and alcohol related issues. Working in conjunction with the local school districts you will have the opportunity to facilitate the Students Against Drunk Driving Program and organize groups for youth involvement in community projects and social activities to promote healthy lifestyles and enhance protective factors to reduce substance abuse among youth.
