Job Description
Our client a dynamic and innovative IT Services Company based in Centurion who proudly support organizations is urgently looking for an Automation Developer with AI Focus with a keen interest in AI technologies and workflow automation to help design build and deploy intelligent solutions for clients.
This role sits at the intersection of software development AI integration and business automation perfect for a developer ready to pivot deeper into the AI space while working on realworld problems.
- 3 years of software development experience with a strong foundation in Python JavaScript or similar scripting languages
- Proficiency working with APIs webhooks and thirdparty integrations
- Experience with workflow automation tools (e.g. Zapier Power Automate n8n or custom scripting environments)
- Comfort with cloud platforms (Azure AWS GCP) and deploying solutions in production
- Curiosity and initiative to explore new tools particularly around AI/ML NLP and prompt engineering
- Strong problemsolving skills and ability to work independently on solution design
- Clear communication and documentation skills especially when working with nontechnical stakeholders
- Practical experience integrating or finetuning AI/LLM models (OpenAI Hugging Face Transformers)
- Familiarity with LangChain LLM orchestration tools or vector databases like Pinecone or Weaviate
- Experience developing or maintaining chatbots or virtual assistants
- Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and version control (Git)
- Direct exposure to cuttingedge AI use cases and tools
- Handson experience solving real client challenges with automation and intelligence

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated workflows and custom integrations using scripting APIs and no/lowcode tools
- Build scalable solutions using Python JavaScript or similar languages
- Integrate AI models (e.g. OpenAI GPT4 Claude Hugging Face) into client workflows for tasks like summarization classification and conversational interfaces
- Assist in designing prompt engineering strategies prompt chains and AIdriven automations
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to translate client requirements into functional automations
- Troubleshoot and debug AIpowered and scripted solutions across environments
- Contribute to documentation best practices and reusable components
- Continuously explore and evaluate emerging tools in the AI automation landscape
