Position Summary
Washington University seeks an advancement professional for the position of Stewardship Officer. University Advancement strives to advance the mission of the school by creating a culture of philanthropy among alumni students faculty and friends.
This role involves managing donor recognition activities reporting on gift impact and fostering strong relationships between the organization and its supporters. The Stewardship Officer plays a key role in enhancing donor satisfaction and fostering longterm donor engagement.
Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Manage highlevel stewardship efforts for key school and unit constituents:
- Support installations & lectures.
- Support stewardship programming.
- Targeted donor messaging and special reports.
- Support memorials and other special events.
- Fund administration.
Coordinate the acknowledgment process with academic leadership as appropriate:
- Highlevel acknowledgment work.
- Support Deans office and/or program directors information needs (ARCH data pulls).
Impact reports:
- Develop highlevel impact reports.
- Develop support materials and collate information for the donor relations team.
Perform other duties as assigned.

- Travel as required on campus and assist with both oncampus and offcampus events.
- Some evening and early morning hours may be required.

Salary Range
$53100.00 $90600.00 / Annually
The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including ones qualifications and performance equity with others in the department market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
