THE POSITION
The State Correctional Institution at SCI Phoenix part of the Department of Corrections is on the lookout for a dedicated and enthusiastic Corrections Stock Clerk to become a valuable member of our team. In the role of a Corrections Stock Clerk within the Department of Corrections you will oversee the processes related to the receipt storage distribution and inventory management of various stock items and supplies specific to your designated facility. Your duties will include conducting thorough inventory assessments as well as receiving storing and issuing essential supplies and raw materials. Additionally you will be responsible for training and supervising inmate workers in the procedures related to the receipt storage distribution and inventory control of these stock items. Furthermore you will prepare regular reports and operate equipment such as motor vehicles forklifts or hand trucks to facilitate the movement of large or heavy items manage the removal of s materials and ensure timely deliveries.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Fulltime employment
- This position is eligible for full retirement benefits at age 50 or 55
- Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM Monday Friday with a 30minute lunch.
- Telework:You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary:In some cases the starting salary may be nonnegotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of stockroom warehouse retail sales or clerical experience;or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Special Requirement:
- This position requires possession of an active motor vehicle license.
Additional Requirements:
- Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown Pennsylvania is required.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
